Show me your wood

Here's my first handle job. Oh it felt so good.

This was some unknown burl wood that looks so cool. I made the scales removeable but it would have been way easier to attach permanently.

when I did my g10 scales for my bk2 I just did round holes. I think if you used a small chisel n were very careful that would work.

Got a question for moose related to him mentioning that wood handles break for him a lot. Just wondering how and where they tend to break. I was thinking about acraglassing some wood onto some G10 or other synthetic liner that's a bit more durable to prevent it from breaking by the scales, if that's where they break for you.

Loving the way mosaic pins look. Really add a classy look. I may do a permanent set on my BK10 here.
