Sweet knife! I like the higher grinds. Spalting doesn't look deep enough to be A-2, it may be O-1Hiking buddy developing a nice patina. Just got back from spa treatment from Andy. Don't know what steel it is. Might be A2, 1075, aluminum. All I know is it will take a good edge and easy to get back.
