Show off yer woods-loving Busses

Well, havent laid the woods into this one yet (pause) as I just finished working on it, but this is the busse that I'm taking firefighting. I'm gonna show it no love, and it's gonna love it.

Fiddleback, what do you think of that thin Gamewarden? I have 2 and use the hell outta mine...ones still mint. I take it everwhere with me, its a great EDC and awesome wood carver. Gene

Thanks! I don't have a bench sander but used an "all in one" tool with scotchbrite's to grind off the dimples and polish to 120 grit. After that it was elbow grease.

Ha, I haven't found any elbow grease for sale yet but I wish I could. The grease on this project I had to earn by screwing up on a few others.

They just had a Skinny version up on the Company Store for a day. Check the exchange. There are some on there right now. Really not that hard to get. You could have one in 3 days if you wanted.

A whole day, you say? That kind of proves my point.

I can't tell you how many times I've checked the company store (including just before I typed this). Also, I have some ideas what I want, not just any that come up for sale.

The other thing, and it's probably just that I'm somewhat quirky, if I buy one, I would want it to be from the store, not from somebody that buys up a bunch of blades hoping to make some money.


This is not to start some kind of controversy, just my honest feelings.
