I don't grow a beard. I just don't shave. The beard grows by itself.

Not in my case Esav.:(

Patches of hair sprout in various areas that never unite to form a unified growth that others call a beard.:o

On the bright side, some kind ladies have said I have a cute baby face!

My girlfriend like's my baby face but I'm back into working out. On a related note, I can't grow facial hair for shit.

Bearded and ponytailed, white/gray and a few black streaks in it.

I don't grow a beard or wear a beard, for I am just bearded.

A few pics from this year with me and my boy will

We must come from the same gene pool, 'cept I got Blonde streaks in the grey.:D

Enjoy the blonde streaks while you have em. Before you know it you will be all shades of grays too. Maybe thats why they call it gray power.

Growing it back for a while at least, I'm the guy on the far left
the rest are family of course, a photo taken to make a Christmas card
and recently added the names to the people,
wife Donna, daughters, Heather, Chelsea and Caitlin, three little weddings!

I'm about 2 1/2 weeks in and this thing is starting to get really irritating. I can hardly keep from rubbing it/my face. Anyone else have a similar experience.

At least once a day, thoroughly massage a little oil into it, more for the skin than the beard, of course. Baby oil is good. Rubbing it during the day is perfectly all right, too, but the best way to do that is to use a small brush, maybe a couple of times a day, maybe with a little oil on it. This keeps it neat, too.

I have yet to try it but Jojoba oil is supposedly very nice for beards as it has similar properties to our natural oils.:)

I'm sure Jojoba would work fine. If your beard were long and you wanted to keep it really neat, regular hair care products would be good, too. Mine is a little longer than that year-old picture, and all I do is brush it in the morning, the skin is no problem anymore, but I've had a beard pretty much continuously since 1969.

I haven't shaved since 1987. My wife keeps after me to keep it trimmed. She tells me to sit down so she can civilize me. :D

Yeah my beard is the longest it has ever been at the moment, quite a bit longer then in the earlier picture. It feels so unruly, I condition it, but maybe a little oil of some sort would help it out. 1969? woah!

Gossman, your beard is great - keep those scissors locked away!:)

If the Air Force had let me keep the earlier start, it would have been since 1962 -- but I knew that wouldn't fly. :p
