So I know lots of people prefer to carry on the belt but I just prefer the privacy of pocket carry. I couldn't find a pocket fixed blade on the market so I designed one myself. Anybody else design their own pocket fixed blade? Pictures are more then welcome I'll post mine when k receive it.

It's not custom, but it is handmade. ATS34 and black palm. Sheath is designed for belt carry vs pocket carry.

Nice little knife man very simple and elegant, in a classic way. What are the specs on that guy?

Neil Blackwood proto... Ti with carbidized edge.

I prefer to carry smaller FBs in my back pocket or cargo pocket when in the woods.(Can't carry a FB in civilization)
This is the smallest I've designed, right at 7".

JK M13 in O1 and Ironwood.
John will make pretty much any knife you want, your design or his.(within reason)

Nice. I prefer a fixed blade to a folder. Never considered some of these options.

BTW - I live in the Philadelphia PA area. They are pretty tough with the knife laws. I lived in South Carolina. I could carry a fixed right on my hip. Not here.
Thanks,

Rich K.

Back pocket eh I just couldn't do it I don't think. I'd be worried about losing it for one and for 2 isn't it annoying when you sit down?

Mine might be stretching the limit of pocket size, depending on your pockets and carry situation. I do carry them around the house in my pocket. They would be much easier to pocket carry if I made compact Kydex sheaths for them.

I bought this Backwoods on the exchange-

I had this one made for me by a local maker, a Fisk pattern-

I don't own this little Mayo custom anymore but it truly is pocket size-

Similarly for this little Randy Lee-

Out of all my knives, this is my wife's favorite. Therefore, I will be gifting it to her for Christmas

Very COOL thread guys ! ! ! !

I debated adding this. :o :o Custom only in that none of this was made for the purpose but put together it really pleases ;) me in performance (grip and actual EDC cutting ease and you couldn't get anything any more light in weight).

Charlie Mike's brilliant little Ti card excepted of course.

:o :o If I were to order a custom grail this is what I would order. Who is going to do that handle for me ? ? ? ? No one right ? I just wish it were super steel, 3V etc, and I would be in pig heaven.
The blade doesn't get dulled from the sheath because there is no silly fiber added to the plastic. Can't keep an edge on my Cold Steel Mini Pendleton Hunter in 3V due to the fiber in the sheath.

[ mini comparison of Mini Hunter : Blade too thick, handle too short (even new one), handle not sculpted like this one in the photo, oh and did I mention the sheath sucks . . . unless you like dull knives then it excels. ]

I like my combo bellow so much I got two. One toothy one mirror edged. I carry one or both depending on the tasks of the day. Just sliped into my pocket. Disappears. Can get hand in and out of pocket easy.

I had these two on me today. Fiddleback Bushboot, which I carry on belt or in pocket, and the Fiddleback Mosquito in a Diomedes Industries Ambidextrous Pocket Sheath.
