Probably more than most folks want to know about a cattle branding. Bull calf becoming a steer:

Same knife cutting rawhide prepping it to be made into a reata.

Made this knife for my friend and ranching partner. The oak burl handle is from one of the trees on our ranch.

Working them on the ground with a knife, that's keeping it old school. Sadly, most of the traditional methods are fading fast in my neck of the woods.
