Beast I've used it a few times, chops decently. It's freaking big and heavy (1/4" thick) so it's going to cut pretty well. There are some folks on the Busse sub-forum who believed it cut much much better if it was reprofiled. You can find a few posts about how folks reprofiled the blade and got a much better chopper.

Months later this is what I’ve pretty much settled in on. With a couple favorites added a lot has come and gone sense then. Two favorite additions are the Case Tony Bose trapper and stockman. Only planed additions to this bunch is a Cold Steel AD10 for my 3rd modern and a Buck 112 custom.
