Quite a few more collectors than users here it would seem. I must have 50 knives or more but most are in various day packs, vehicle glove boxes/consoles (we've got 5 vehicles in my family), night stand/side table drawers, etc. I don't think I've ever had an interest in collecting knives although when I find a SAK I like, I might buy 2-3 of them (like the Farmers I bought a few years ago from Amazon for about $17 each).

I'm not sure how you can discern collectors vs users? I have a collection of users.

I did. I don't do work for other people though. Don't want to risk messing up someone else's knife. I don't know who would do that kind of work on BF but feel free to ask around.
