I stick some in the bottoms for smaller knives that would sit too low in the case. Technically I don't think you need them as the nalpak insert is closed cell foam unlike most pull\pluck foam inserts. I like to do it anyway though.
My thoughts as well. Small desiccant packs can be put in the microwave for a few seconds to “recharge” them. I think I’ve got 4 in the 21 slot Nalpak 1300.

I sold most of my knife collection, everything not custom is going.
Oh the previous collection, I don't think I ever had all the knives in one shot, I have a video collection of them one by one on my YouTube channel. I think the most I ever put in a single shot was around 35 folders. I should of taken a big picture of them all together before i started selling them off, oh well.
