Show off your pocket sheath for your favorite trad knife - folder or fixed

I have a 23. According to GEC the 23 doesn't fit in their sheath. I would like something like that for my 23

Here's one I made for myself. I was experimenting with carrying in my left pocket, but I went back to the right pretty quickly.

I really like that. Outstanding work!

carried more as a neck sheath but also hung in a deep pocket

Thanks, I think that one turned out pretty well, and I feel like the edge lacing finishes it nicely. I should set myself up with more leatherworking tools and start making stuff again.

it does indeed look very cool

I'm in the same boat but often think the hand tool rustic look is so much cooler

has anyone made one incorporating a pocket clip?

I use a medium William Henry 'clip case' and a cheapy import job for larger knives regularly. I never could get used to having a knife lying sideways at the bottom of my pocket.

I have shown this type several times in the past. This is my 90% of time sheath. The other 10% is belt style. Ron Ryder made the first one I saw and I make my own from that encounter. I think he still sells them.....300

Hangs from the belt, lays along seam of pants, not in front. Easiest to just pull on strap till knife exits pocket and remove from sheath. But in a pinch can be done one-handed in the pocket.

I buy half a dozen sheaths in various sizes and then either braid leather thong for the belt loop or four strands of 30 lb spiderwire or superbraid bass fishing line. I am favoring the line method as it makes almost invisible loop to the belt. It has stood up to wear and tear and several good jerks.

I did not like the clear mono line method. Never made another.

I usually run my knife slip along side a wallet in my back pocket but I've a mind to make something that can ride in a front pocket
