All right guys and gals, lets see what you carry outdoors when you want to glam it up some, and tell me why. I'll go first.
Necker: My wedding knife made by me. It is a solid 3 finger grip that can be a full hand grip easily enough. It has Desert Ironwood and red liners, a wood tone kydex sheath and some rudimentary filework. Actually it was a scrap piece of steel that I tried my first filework on, and decided that it needed to be turned into a knife. A couple of minutes on the grinder and this is what came out:
Folders:
Damascus Leek- pretty self explanitory- good looking steel, performs great and speedsafe.
Case Damascus Stockman- Even though there are some fit and finish problems the blades get sharp, stay sharp well, and the bone looks good in contrast with the raindrop damascus. This is becoming my EDC now that I am back in school (no bad sheeple responses yet).
$5 Kuhn folder I modified. The blades have everything I need- Wharncliffe for point and long edge, and then both a concave and convex secondary blades. Not much that can not be done with this. (before and after)
FB:
My BRKT Lil' Bird and Trout- it is a mini bushcraft shape, small, light and very versatile. Works well in the kitchen, as well as in the woods. Carries well sideways on the belt, and best of all- it's RED!!
I found this Grohmann on the street along with a new pair of dress pants and made a matching marlinspike for it (not shown). Classic Canadian design in a classy handle material.
The closest thing to a pretty chopper is my kukri
I showed you mine now show me yours!
