Show off your Single Blade Slippys

1940-64 is the best I know for the CASE XX stamp. Is there a way to narrow it down further? I found it in an antique store near home in dirty, but very good condition. Sent it to case to fix the side to side blade movement and they polished the whole thing. Oh well, it will be earning a patina through my use for another 50-70 years.

I've picked up a couple more since I posted to this thread.

Ed, those a great examples! I can see that we have similar tastes in knives! Most of the ones you pictured are on my list to get (I have the single blade copperhead TC Barlow and love it). I would like to see the boy's knife with a lanyard hole and bail, or a bail like on the 68 white owls.

only single blade traditional I have at this time

I really like the green jigged bone on this one! Thanks for sharing.

Hammer, I dig that Dogleg. Patina on the blade and that bone really look great together.

Thanks! I'm not sure why, but that #55 seems to take a particularly wicked-sharp edge. And it's so slim, you barely know it's in your pocket. Great pattern.

Thank you so much for the info on that Mystery knife!! It just so happens a friend brought me a NIB pristine example a few days ago with box and everything, even the little brown paper with directions but no name or anything on the box or paper. I was gonna start looking for info but you ended the hunt early on thanks:thumbup:

I think all of these have been posted here before, but this is a new photo. I call this group "birds of a feather".
