Show off your Single Blade Slippys

OMR I know what you mean:D the only real cure is constant use but I suspect it is a hazard:eek: These are nice knives, VERY tough, a bit crude in finish but that has its appeal too.

The other satanic spring knife I've got is a Northfield 73. Beautiful knife and I like a strong spring, but this is a 9.8 out of 10. I left it for six months in the quarter open position with a cork wedged in the 'jaws' Worked it for ages, even filed a bit of the tang square away but it's still 9.5:grumpy:

I have a lot of single-blades, but this Arthur Wright Lambsfoot has been carried most lately :)

A handmade Italian Resolza in ram bone, a GEC#47 Viper in jigged peachseed; have a sfo GEC#77stag barlow on the way though~

After selling off my collection of strider, spyderco, bastinelli&benchmade to fund a move to nyc I recently picked up a spyderco para2 to accompany my tuff lite at work(no issues with carry at work). It serves well as a workhorse but after being gifted a Resolza I've realised how convenient it is to carry a single blade slipjoint without worry of odd looks at a cafe while trimming papers (printmaking) especially in the boroughs of Manhattan and Queens.

Very decent examples both of those:thumbup:

I carry singles or single-spring two blades more than multi blades, more comfortable in the hand generally.

Two Ohta's and an Erickson that find their way into my pocket fairly regularly. I find the single blade slippies a lot more comfortable in hand then most multiblades. These are small knives. The Erickson is 3 1/4".

These are gorgeous, I've got an Ohta being built now, so can't tell you how happy this pic makes me.

Taylor Eye Witness - Ram's Horn. In sun these handles look like true amber. It is hand made by one man from begin to the end. The only downside is price. In my opinion could be cheaper.

Arthur Wright - Rosewood. I do like this one but it has slightly blade play.

Oh yes,now they are lovely.

I've been eyeing up the coppersmith line and I can't find info on that trapper anywhere. Could you give me a lil review? How do you like it? How's the pull?

Got this one, the watch too, yesterday. Was a very hard one to track down as GEC only made like 10 of these with the tortoise shell scales.

A Kabar Coppersmith that has been modified into a single clip blade. Really love this knife! I have many many more single blades but these are just a few of my favorites.

Queen #11 in Zebra Wood. Finally sharpened to a respectable edge. Only took me 15 months.
