Show off your Single Blade Slippys

Since I just got a new knife from Tommy Gann, I thought it would be a good time to post this picture. I have more single blade pocket knives than anything else, which is not what I would have expected, five years ago.

In case y'all can't tell from the terrible picture, the makers are (clockwise from the top): Hampton, Menefee, Kirk, Kirk, Johnson, Coats, and Gann.

At present this is the only single blade slipjoint I have with me! :o I could never part with this one, had it since I finished highschool and despite losing it many times it finds its way back. I even lost it in a VERY busy cinema when I saw lord of the rings fellowship, I was sure it would be gone, went back in 40 mins later and it was sitting among the popcorn strewn everywhere. :D

Loving the bone on that Howser Elliot, TONS of character. This is the second Howser knife that has caught my eye today, I need to contact him about getting on a list. Is he on the forum?

Beautiful knives everyone. This Jos Rodgers dates to the late 1920s or early 30s.

I also have a Schrade 12OT, but no picture. Both the second cut antique bone knives were gifted (one from a give away and one from a forum mate, who went to a lot of effort and expense to send it to me. - Thanks Jason and William.

I have been reading along thread and just realized I had some single blade knives to show that aren't Bucks.

Imperial 'Magic' knives, a sliding rivet in the blade well catches the notch of the tang. You press the blade down in the well, give it a shake so the rivet slides out of the notch and the blade moves a small distance up so you can open knife. Closing is the opposite. Push blade into well, turn the other vertical position give it a shake so the rivet slides INTO the notch and it holds it closed. I believe the they were only made in the three scale versions shown and most cell. scales were advertising knives......... The novelty wears off after a spell........300Bucks/ch

I'm glad you found an ebony one Trand. I was trying to pry my fingers off mine to offer it to you in a trade. After handling yours I'm sure you could feel my pain.

Thanks Steve, I really like this one and think it may be my new favorite of the bunch. I really appreciate the thought and I'm happy no loss need be felt :)

Great collection of HMT's Trand. Which ones are you missing if any? Same patterns look great in a line up.
