Until a few months ago, I've carried the same Benchmade AFCK every day for the last 20 years. Over that time I've used it as a pry bar and a screw driver on many occasions when the situation called for it. I did manage to break the tip twice over the years, but instead of replacing the blade, I just reshaped it a bit to keep a pointy tip. As a bonus, it's magnetized.

Since I decided to retire my old friend, I have managed to loose two Kershaw Nerves/Blitz knives. I carry tip down in my back pocket right along side my wallet and I think the clips on the Kershaws were just a bit to short and allowed the knife to push out while sitting down. I just started carrying a Ontario Utilitac II 2 weeks ago which has a pocket clip that looks just like the AFCK's and so far so good.

My first generation Delica, carried it as my main EDC for about four years or so. I worked in a machine shop, the dimple you can see is the result of a rockwell testing machine.
