Kephart in AEB-L from Redsquid landed in AK and I will be putting it to work.
I really like his knives, that Kephart looks like it would also do a good job as a skinner too with some of that curve. Please let us know how it does. Living vicariously through others’ adventures.View attachment 2692377

Kepharts just plain work in most scenarios. They are a great hunting knife design. I quit hunting years back, and our property is kind of a critter haven now, but always chores and things to do with a blade. A no frills, well designed knife is always needed.I really like his knives, that Kephart looks like it would also do a good job as a skinner too with some of that curve. One of my earliest Redsquid2 acquisitions was a Kephart, still need to use it more, but I liked the handle a lot, smooth but also shaped well.Kepharts just plain work in most scenarios. Flip Point for the win! That mango has some nice grain too. Great snag!I am way digging this one. Great blade shape and it melts into my hand like it was made for me. Mango wood, AEB-L, with a stellar grind.
