I traded that hiker in bloodwood to TPVT, I kike hikers :)
Yup & I got it from Todd,great knife,great pattern.

The orange handled folder (I think?) - with the long handle ratio to blade length, looks like it might make a good whittler. Which one is that?

High on my JK wish list. I really need to get one. In fact, I might just order one to go with my custom. We'll see... :)
Hey SB,that's a Tin Knife I made the kydex handle for.
Here's the original thread I did on it.handle
I saw someone else do one a couple of years back in the old W&SS forum & it piqued my interest so I gave it a try.
It really works good for what it is.

No pics to display but over the years I've owned many JKs. I bought my first, a Kephart, back when John was called Stomper. I've sold some, given many as gifts, but a few are still in my possession:

The first Phoenix (my design)
A Pocket Scandi
Toby's knife
Rule #9
JK Original (I won the naming contest-fun!)
EWOK that I designed with a butt like the Rule #9
A Rockywolf's Original
The axe/knife combo designed by Pitdog that has a name escaping me right now...

I've had a Keppy, 2 pocket scandis, Hudson Bay, 2 EDCs, 2 Bushcrafters, a Field Knife (never should've sold it!), 2 no name knives John made for my sons, and a couple more I'm probably forgetting.

On my wish list is an Improved Bowie with a flat grind (I am not a fan of secondary bevels). And maybe a TTSK!!

Hi Rw -

You are thinking of the Knatchet!

Also - I remember you winning the naming contest.

Do you remember the Lobo? I wanted one of those but never got aligned to order one.

Yes! I also had a Lobo, damn I wish I would've kept it!

Here's my support...

I have many knives and a fair amount of JKs and I can honestly say this about the man and his products...

You cannot find a man who has more integrity, more honesty in his affairs both personal and business-related than John. His product offers a value in a beautiful working piece of hand made art that is difficult to equal as well.

If you are considering purchasing something from John, all I can tell you is that every box I have received from him has completely met and exceeded my expectations. You will be satisfied to say the least.

If you'd like to see pictures, those aren't too hard to find. :)

Now that I see ""The Tool" in hand, I find myself wanting one. It looked much bigger in the pictures Saintybrees posted of his (and others I have seen). Just what I need, another want I can't cover.

Not the best pic but here u go:)

That has to be the most unique collection of JK's going - some very nice stuff, many one-offs.

A great picture - thanks!

Sweet Coop -

That fish knife that you got at the gathering is very cool - fills out the family for your DBH well....

OK...Love the Beast RussB!!

But it looks right at home in your pumpkin patch Daniel.

A couple of pictures I took yesterday - I was on a roll while watching football.

These show off John's Tactical side.

My XD XT Tactical Bowie with my DBH, along with the sheath from John for the XD and the sheath for the DBH from Rick Garcia.
