I've been scrolling through this thread and there sure are some great looking knives. I knew I loved the look of the pocketworn alox, but looking through some of those late 60's and 70s alox soldiers from Sonowilfred, I didn't know that the silver alox could look so good worn. My knife interests had taken another direction, I have some alox vics, I just haven't been carrying them. After looking at this thread, wish I would have kept one in my pocket over the last 10 years and I might would have a nice pocketworn one by now. I think I'm going to see what I have in my collection and find a dedicated alox to throw in my other pocket in addition to what I usually carry, or maybe just go with the Sak. May just have to order a new one and start fresh.

Just never realized the silver alox could look so good over time with wear. Looked through my Vics last night. I have a 2005 Soldier that came with a book as a gift set, and an old Cadet 2 that is still in the box, probably don't want to use those. But I have an old 84 soldier with a hollow rivet that was used when I got it and I carried from time to time............ That above pic by Sonofwilfred will probably get the 84 soldier back on active duty.
