That is funny as I sit here reading the forums with my white tank top on

even my beaters don't really get beaten. I will chop, baton, slice maybe even light pry, but I don't think I can ever bring my self to cut lamp poles, or chop concrete like you Jarvis.

they have some nice scratches. I guess taking the curve out of the SS might make it my best beater.

How did you do that to that nickle? (I hope no treasury agents see that...)

Did you use a clamp on the nickle and beat the knife into it? Playing that out in my head i keep coming up with me hitting it the knickle sliding off and my hand hitting the knife...
 
I put the very edge of the nickle in my vice then I batoned the GW into it..

The effect on the satin finish is sweet.
