Show those lanyards

I don't put lanyards on knives. Serves no purpose for me. This is my only lanyard just because I wanted this bead.

I only have this lanyard it started on the PM2 now it's on the ZT.

Most of them are silver or gold and have a name associated with them. Many are in the category of art. I have used a few pandora beads. Some of them are OK but still in the 30.00 to 50.00 range. Be careful with them,I ordered one a few years ago that looked good but the detail was very bad after getting it. Sold it on Facebook for half what I paid.

There are some really great set-up's here. Always love seeing nice work and good ideas.

For the actual lanyard material, I like both cord and leather. But seem to lean toward leather unless the knife simply dictates otherwise. And while I prefer a lanyard on my carry folders (over not), my tastes in length and bulk have changed a bit in the last little while also. I like them much shorter now than what I used to add. I like the ability to wrap my pinky around the lanyard and draw until I can get good purchase on the handle and know it's secure. I guess with that, it goes without saying that I also prefer deep riding clips, like the wire clips. At first I thought they just looked cheap (to look at, I didn't have any experience with them until recently), but now love'em.

Confession time......I've got way too many skull beads. Not that it's "my thing", just got a great deal on a bunch of Emerson style beads, so I've probably got them on a dozen or more knives. But, I recently started playing/pounding on some spare bullion silver. Made one bead, and have some more ideas in my head for a couple designs I'd like to see on my EDC's. We'll see how it goes. Pretty sure I want to makeover my Domino and PM2.
