It's show time, once again. We'll be displaying our collection at the Las Cruces Gun & Knife Show this weekend.
We always have a grand time and our dog does too. We'll see many friends and Buck collectors there. I'll give you developments along the way. DM

Have a great show David. Share some photo's when you have time.

I always enjoy seeing the show pictures of your collection David - will be looking forward to your posts. OH

Thanks guys, we'll be trying to put our best foot forward and set a good standard for us Buck collectors. It is often at this show a good friend of Chuck Buck will stop by and visit. Shazzam! He always has good things to say about him and the company. I'll try to get some photos posted when we set up and during the show. I hope to find a model I've been searching for that will fit into my collection. A good time of year to travel and see old friends. Stay tuned. DM

David,
Thank you for your continued faithful service to the BCCI. I wish I could be there with you this weekend.

Larry, thank you for all you do for us Buck collectors as well. I would be honored and over joyed should you make it out our way. But don't come without Smoltz :) so he and I could talk baseball as the play offs are in High Gear. DM

David, I hope you're able to display your knives at your home as well. Very nice set-up!

looks good. so it's for showing folks what buck has made and makes. traveling museum of sorts? thank you Sir.

TAH, no it's stored away.
jb, yes, my collection is made up of every model Buck produced from 1963-83. Plus, any sharpening items they offered. Many folks never get to see these models together all at one time. So, a good attraction at a show. Also, I was raised in E. Texas and my wife is a Bama girl. So, watch yo mouth. :)

Buck Shack, it is a ton of fun. Many companies do benefits and ask their employees to donate their time. So, I chose this. Collectors and old friends will look us up and stop by for a visit, (like Tom) while enjoying the show. Some drive 200 miles each way to this show every year. One year 300 Bucks drove 900 miles with collection and wife in tow to help us at this show and wouldn't let me buy his supper. You guys are the greatest. DM

Some more good collectors. Another long time Buck collector, Mike and his wife (when not deployed) will stop by for a visit. DM

yes Sir, i was raised in old florida.....Sir and Ma'am is all i know and southern politeness was hard wired and beaten into me as a child.;)

Your welcome. I believe we have common ground as my folks were cut from the same tree. My wife has a saying, taught to her at her grandmothers knee an Arkansas lady. 'In order to have manners you have to know manners.' DM

Thanks Tom. That guy is pointing in the location of a row of 112's in that display. From where his finger is I'd say he's inquiring, about the shedua handled model. Stuff that collectors know about here, others have never seen. Just look at his face, it's not staged as he's very focused on that one. Probably asking, what wood is that? When did Buck do that? Here's a photo of that display
with life member collector Hugh behind it. Who has an outstanding Buck collection. DM
