Here are some better pics, as it nears completion, the last pic compares this large knife to one of my "LHK" designs, the "LHK" is 7 1/2" total length.

Much better pictures. That is one incredible knife. I love everything about it. You are going to have to show how to make one like that at Ed's this summer.:D
 
Yeah Baby!! That thing just keeps getting sweeter. I have to say I've really enjoyed seeing pictures of this knife in various stages of completion - very informative and entertaining. Wish I were going to the show to see that one in person.

No-no-no, APM, you got it wrong! Ron made Damascus LHK for me. This is the one that pictured.
 
Wow! thanks for the great comments on this knife. It has been unbelievably fun and yet frusterating at the same time to build this knife. I wanted to build roughly this knife for well over a year, but have only gotten around to doing it now...the wife says it`s because I`ve gotten more and better skills now..lol
This knife is made obviously for sale but ultimately for competition at the Kamloops show...oooops maybe I shouldn`t have mentioned that...hehe you never know whos readin this!

It looks like I will most likely hand deliver the damascus LHK to you Nick, maybe I`ll let you fondle the Bowie when we meet in Edmonton.
