I`m not sure if this is the appropriate spot to post this, though I`m sure someone will move it if need be!

Here we are 2 weeks away from the Kamloops B.C show (Canada) and I`m almost ready, just got to finishe a few more blades and I`m good to go. here is a pic of the table to look for when you go, we just finished up the table cover tonight.

I'd say this is as good a place as any to post this. That's a nice looking table cover you have there. I wouldn't mind getting a better look at that knife at the back.

I've gone looking for a list of exhibitors for this show and came up with nothing. Anyone know who will be there?

Gabe

Looks good Ron! Glad to hear you'll make the show! Wish I could be traveling up that way & buy your first knife.:D Good luck!

Thanks guys, I`ve been busting my but trying to fill some orders while making blades for the show!
If you are reffering to the one on the antler Keith, I have a few better (not much better)pics of it. Just in case you can`t tell, it`s san mai bowie length of blade is just short of 11" from guard.

Wow, an 11" blade san mai bowie - you certainly got my complete attention with that one. I look forward to seeing pics of the completed knife.

Cheers,

Roger

Hi. I'm Ron Lockhart, Vice Pres. of the Western Canada Knife Association who stage the Kamloops show. Will try to list as many of the exhibiters as I can remember: Harald Moeller, Frank Niro, Roger Hatt, Ginny Hall (scrimshaw), Mike Pisio, Bill Weibe, Max Searls, Ray Fehler, Marty Beets, Bob Lay, George Roberts, David hussey, Jim Buchan, Darcy Ellis, Murray Cook, Jordan Lukow, Ron Leuschen, Irv Brunas plus other custom makers who have just registered or will arrive at the last minute. Any questions my email is:

It`s getting closer, gotta do a bunch of sanding, make the butt cap and goodies, then fill with J/B fit everything together, and set in knife press, then add mosaic pin, and after all that it`s sheath time.

Ron, that is one heck of a great looking Bowie. I'm very impressed. Make sure we get to see this one when it is totally finished.

Got my registration form for Ed Storch's symposium today. Are you still going to be there?

Thanks Keith, you bet, I`m on the list of demo`s, I`ll be there a couple days early probably wed or thursday. Hope to see you there.
On our way to Kamloops for the show, we like to take the way through calgary, then on to the rogers pass, if that route is no good we will have to come through Edmonton, maybe we can meet for a bit if we do come through there.

Enjoy

When that Bowie is done, be sure to show a big closeup of that guard! Looks real interesting, Ron. Again, good luck at the show! :)

What a beauty. The overall look is incredible and I love the twists you put in the guard. The carving gives the butt cap a real classy look.

Ron,

Very Nice! If you have a customer for that beauty, they are getting one fine looking creation!:D If she's made for the show, she'll break your heart as she leaves with a new owner!:( But if she comes back home with you, send me an e-mail - I've fallen in love with her already!;)
