Let's see 'em.

I am curious what kind of leather bags everyone uses and what for.

I got one from Oklahoma Leather. I haven't gotten to play with it yet (reserved for Christmas) but I think it will be pretty cool, based on the quality of some of their other stuff. It is like this one:

I made this one. Pictured with a Bark River Gunny for size.

Stays in my truck and holds everything I need. Compass, flashlight, fire making, hand warmth, water prep, first aid, paracord, SAK, biners...name it.

dont have any pics of my ol lady at the moment.

jk :)

Now that I have blackmail material...PM me for the address of where to send my Christmas gifts. LoL

Seriously, I needed that chuckle this morning after a night of fighting a 20 month old. Why do they think 2 am is the best time to wake up and chase the dogs through the house, then pull on daddy's ears and poke his eyes?

Because Echo..They're up having fun and figure you you would want to have fun too! Leather is so nice....the smell..the squeaky sound it makes..just makes you wanna skin a cow dont it? :)

Twin,

That's a really handsome bag and knife.

Thanks Don. I have been making a lot of leather goods lately.

I made a really nice purse for my wife and her sister for Christmas too.

I can also say that without extending my pinky as I sip my morning coffee. :D:D:D

Nice setup. I like that a lot. I may even have to copy it! :) But I gotta know...what's in the little bag?

Thanks and thanks!

The little bag has 25 rounds of .22 LR Hollow Points. I forgot ammo one time going woods bummin' with my little rifle. Never again. :D

I sold a GOB of those pouches on this forum and abroad. Being unemployed, I cannot pony up for my subscription right now...:(

That little field hone is custom product from KSF that I won in a grab bag.

It comes as part of a kit here...

Pretty handy to have in the field. There are a lot of sizes on Derricks site to choose from.:D
