My wife’s family holidayed at a small beach town every year from before she was born. My father in law was telling me a while back “25 years ago they were asking $30-40k for a small house on the beach and I thought they had to be kidding themselves. Now those houses are going for $300-500k”.

a decade or so ago these things were much more affordable, the interest has exploded which comes with both goods and bads, same for the collector base. for those with deep pockets, nothings truly rare i suppose. its a topic thats been discussed ad nauseum but c'est la vie
