Been hangin with the Rider at work lately. I work in a forge shop, where everything is just nasty dirty. I think the rough and tough Rider is right at home there, also it has a punch well suited to flick out all the slivers and splinters the place has to offer. IMG_20240926_093654326.jpg

I mostly use a knife for opening packages, preparing packages for shipping, and various cutting or scraping duties.

The Rider comes in handy for scraping off old calibration stickers in hard to reach places.

a fellow harmonica player! what kinda harp is that?

Sorry mate missed this. Full disclosure I only just got it, been playing guitar for 20 years but always wanted to get into it.

I found a Lee Oskar diatonic on sale so picked it up. If I get the hang of it I’ll buy a decent chromatic one.

I was planning on playing around with it and learning myself but if you’ve got any suggestions for picking it up I’m all ears!

diatonic and chromatic are two different things. i have an extensive collection of diatonic harmonicas in various keys but only one chromatic harmonica that i bought out of sheer curiosity. 10 diatonic is the one that allows for bending, both over bends and over blows and under bending to get the additional notes. lee oskars arent bad! i myself favor an aluminum comb and did mod a suzuki manji once with a brass comb. very rich and warm sounds but god it was heavy and smelled like pennies
