Show us your Charlie Campagna SFOs

Great Photo- So when you think about the massive content in this photo, the background - each and every knife was dreamt up by Charlie- then hashed out with Bill to make them a reality - which is quite unbelievable.
So too was Dave's phenomenal work in all the cabinetry he made himself, and placed each knife that he purchased himself - the arranged and driven down on a huge road trip to Honour Charlie!

Very Very special ! Dave you must be so so proud of this, be cause I am of you my friend, and of Charlie who's commitment you see here in the knives that actually exist that came from his mind.

I am so glad to have seen this in person, and to see Dave just beaming!!! Seeing Charlie and Dave in front of all this work I am sure I wasn't the only one who fought with emotions and trying to show the frontiersman stance 🤣

Pretty darned cool, If I SFO'd just one knife with Bill that would be a massive achievement.
Well said. They definitely built something special for all of us to enjoy.

Duncan, I worked in a cabinet shop for a while years ago and now have a good friend that I helped build his cabinet shop. So making the cabinets was really the easy part, not all that expensive. What did cost was the glass! I bought “ museum glass “ and for the 6 cabinets I’ve made ( only 5 in the photo) it was over $600 ! You can bet I had them well cushioned up for the trip and worried about them the whole way.
It was WELL worth it to see the look on Charlie’s face and was the hardest secret to keep before the show!
Next April it’ll be back to the Schatt and Morgan’s. Already paid the dues and for the table.

Speaking of low numbers- again PLEASE forgive me, but this VERY special knife to me I have just finished waxing, one of the most amazing 66 releases ever imo, Charlie produced a low number but again I am very sorry as I can't remember the release numbers, but this knife is simply......stunning! 661311.
(I must retake many photo's - these photos are from my files sorry folks).

I'm a big fan of the Calf Ropers, Duncan and this blood red beauty with the slanted bolsters is a scarce example for sure! I was perusing the Production Totals a few months ago, and I ran across the listing of the few 66 variations that Charlie had produced. I've looked at those totals numerous times and hadn't even noticed them before. And, I'm pretty sure this is the first of those 66s that I've seen. Only seven of that variety...Definitely a treasure to own. Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!!

And what a success that jigging "experiment" has been. I don't think Schrade did it any better! I sometimes catch myself wandering through the Production Totals to find those that I'd never seen an actual example of. Glad to have laid eyes on at least a photo of this one. Happy New Year to you as well, Charlie!

Thanks for coming in Dave and telling us, I remember you mentioning the Glass price! I haven't seen the Schatt and Morgan display " in the flesh" one day fairly soon I'm Hoping!

Oh boy do GEC do a god job of their Peach-seed Jigging, at times I think " yeah this is just like Schrade - but then you pick up an older Schrade that has particularly nice Peach-seed then I think..."mmmm maybe not quite"
Either is phenomenal really!
Thank you for the number info Buckeye Sharp Buckeye Sharp :)
Thank you again Charlie. :)
