Happy Holidays all!

I think I have one more coming to me later today.

Fingers crossed.

Although I was hoping a Forum Knife and a Black Jack would show up before Christmas I did get this very nice Tribal Lock from my wife and kids. I like it a lot, very good fit and finish and I love the pocket worn whiskey bone covers. It's definitely going into my carry rotation - just need a larger pocket slip.

Hope all have a great day!

I didn't put any on my list John but did get myself this '02 Marbles liner lock copperhead.;)

I bought a couple Case knives and made some leather pocket slips as x-mas gifts for two of my son-in-laws. A Tribal lock and a Canoe in burnt amber jigged bone, both are very nice knives I think.

The scout knife shown below is one I found through a dealer months ago and is from my home area council. I made a slip for it and gave it to our former scoutmaster when I took a long drive along with my two brothers to visit him over the weekend. He was a great mentor to us when we were scouts in the early 70's and has been a good friend of the family all these years.View attachment 1254173View attachment 1254174View attachment 1254175 Scout knife - 2 - 1.jpegView attachment 1254177

That's fantastic!
I bet he really appreciated the visit and the gift.:thumbsup:

The Tribal Lock is one of my favourites from Case. You both scored some nice ones!
Keep those gift givers around a while longer.

Thanks John. I hope so, the main reason for our visit was to offer support as he is going though what I'm sure is a difficult time having just lost his wife of 50+ years. She held special place in my heart as well and was also a great influence in my upbringing.

No knives from my family today. :(
But that's okay: got a nice watch and four bottles of whisky/whiskey (three single malts and a bourbon--perfect ratio!). :)

I did receive at least one Christmas knife, though: a Case trapper from my boss at the office Xmas party on December 17.

One of my favourite patterns. I will carry this one a lot. That's smooth bone, by the way--not Delrin.

And I received a long-anticipated knife on December 20:

The 2019 BladeForums knife. Not technically a Christmas knife, yet kind of. ;)

Also got this from one of my sons:

It should come in handy.

I got a Case Muskrat 9200CL/E from my mother-in-law. Sorry, no pics yet. Yes it did happen:eek:!
Now, there is a major issue with it. None of the two blades are sharp....at all. Butter knives are sharper. Thinking of sending it back to Case. My first Muskrat and I love it...reguardless.

Got this one... so far. A large portion of our family is employed in health care and many of them work on holidays. So today we'll be getting together for Christmas dinner 2.0 and who knows what Santa may have left. This ebony sowbelly is actually more than enough, as it is very nice!
I've wanted one for years and now I'm absolutely thrilled to have it.
