Well The Chef wouldn't even consider considering buying me a knife .
So I ordered these two on a whim, in the final hour as it were. I have had a super steel Christmas knife every year now for a while and wasn't going to go for it again this year. Then some out of the blue cravings appeared in my pea brain and I acted on them.

A Case Patriotic Teardrop and a Case Doctor's knife.
I had no idea how cool the Patriotic scales are. They are all deeply milled and have a ton of texture / grippy edges; I couldn't be more pleased. The action is nice and crisp and the dye is perfect. Really great for the price.
I've been wanting to read Chuck's book for a while now so I got that as well.

Nah that's standard operating procedure.
Case knows you like a challenge.
Just rub it on a sharpening stone, preferably a very coarse one for a little bit and you would be surprised at the transformation.

I just got that Doctor's knife and the edge is all burred and rolled over to one side. Just proves they don't "love me" as much as they "love you". I'll probably just take a Spyderco Triangle rod to mine when I get a minute.

No big deal.
