So I just moved and was unpacking some of my keepsakes from when I lived in Brazil, and came across one of the several knives I purchased while I was there. I forgot how crazy weird this thing was, for sure one of the most unique knives I've seen. It has a very strange story behind it as well.

So I thought, heck, I'll show it off and hopefully see some other strange knives floating around in your collections as well! Let's see 'em, here's mine:

Wow I've something like that!
It's a "normal" blade (tramontina) with some decoration around... Mine is even stranger because the sheath is a horn...

wow...I don't really want to post my pic after I've seen yours...
You just scare the crap out of me with the sheath man...cool knife, if I have it, I'm gonna hang it onto the wall, next to the real human head ;)

I guess my (one of a kind) CS Spartan would count...

is the sheath-face made out of wood or plastic?

That thing is startin to creep me out...

Lol, it is a bit creepy... my wife doesn't allow it in the house. I think it's made out of a clay or something that was stained to look like wood... I didn't get to see a ton of how it was made, I do know that the Brazilian hippy that made it for me had to "bake" it once he was done... for that task he bought flammable alcohol from the pharmacy, dumped them in the street, and lit the puddle on fire as passers-by gawked while he casually cooked my knife.

Chuka, you win. I don't think we'll see anything that will top your knife and story... :) I know there isn't anything in my collection that is that crazy awesome. Congrats on owning it.

Agree, short thread since OP is the show stopper!

LOl, that is awesome! I'd hang that up on my wall by the door to greet people and have a hidden blade by the front door.

That "stinger" looks about right. None like I have seen from up here in the northern hemisphere, but the barbs going both directions strikes me as odd. Has the right grain though.

That "knife" on the other hand is something strange though...reminds me of some crazy folk art I have seen in mexico.

I'll add my BM630 to the list...
