Show Us Your Discontinued Benchmades

I have a Benchmade Brend ATS-34 that I'm considering selling. I was just looking on here to get an idea what it's current value is. It has never been used or sharpened.

I'm not the forum police but I'll tell you as many others will you have to be a gold member to sell or get prices for what your blade is worth.

Be seeing you, Arick

So back at #30 we had my original 710 "rescue knife" and my first 705. I'm not sure I even realized the 705 was partially serrated when I bought it. I saw it and snapped it up. Below is the next photo in the family album as the brood grew with the -1401 first, followed by a long-sought-after and much-appreciated plain edge 705. I can't seem to get enough of the 710/705 pairing as later photos will attest.

Aside from your membership level, kindly keep sales talk out of discussion threads. It is inappropriate and can lead to thread closure.

Back on topic, I just picked this up and am wicked excited. I might see it by week's end but can't contain myself and will post the former owner's pic.

Good deal! I've been trying to score one for a while now. Slim, thin and well made, You'll love it!

Here's a few oldies I came across today. First off a couple of 672's one has an odd location for the Osborne name on it. Next up is pristine pre-98 Mini Stryker and a old Crawford Leopard Cub I got from France and finally a trio of 722's with the bottom one being my main carry from 2004 till 2010.

340 Aphid

Here's my 720 that I glass media blasted the coating off, acid washed then stone washed. Added a deep carry clip too. I love it.

Here's a few more...

SAM_5554.jpg~original

483 Shori It was only around for a couple years and I have to say, it's one of my least favorite Benchmades lol.
850 Pardue Very nice little gentleman's folder, but it was a bit pricey back in its day.
855-02 Pardue Meh, don't care for serrations or the color scheme of this one, they did offer several other colors though.
730-1501 Ares I know the Ares has a pretty loyal fanbase, but the ergonomics just don't suit me for some reason.
3310-91 Drop Point Infidel I know the double edge looks much better, but I still like the drop point version too. Wish it would make a comeback since there's too many fakes floating around to buy one on the secondary market.

Nice 72x set Arick. [emoji106]
Thanks Joe, the 72x series fits my hand like a glove for edc use I kind of miss the creativity of old after seeing the new Benchmades for this year especially on their 30th anniversary.

I can almost feel those 72x's filling my palm. Sweet and tantalizing.

Very nice, Arick!

Nice lineup, Cali! I did a double-take as those look like they could have come from my BM box at first glance. My 800 is plain-edged, though, and my wife's and my Strykers are mini satin, full-size SBK, -1501, and full-size stone-washed partially serrated. I've got 4 710s, but none are 154CM.

Here are my AFCKs, both full-size even though the shot makes the 800 look smaller:

Well, I was going to try to string my pics out more, but I can't help posting these as they were in my PO box this morning. I posted the seller's pic of the 880 Darkstar above at #65, right after making a deal for it off the big auction site. A couple hours later I closed on the 885 figuring I might as well have the pair.

The mini seems pretty much unused with a reasonably sharp factory edge. The 880 has seen use, has some extremely light longitudinal scratches on the blade' and has a God-awful "sharpening" job. Both knives were stiff and smudgily, dryly dirty in the way knives get sitting around unused for a long time. I loosened up the pivots on both, got some TriFlow on their Teflon washers, re-adjusted, and cleaned up the blades, scales, and liners. The satin blades now have a nice luster and the action is much smoother and looser on both. I'll get a nice edge of the 880 and touch-up the 885 and will have two very nice specimens to add to my Benchmade box and stick in my pocket now and then.

Those Darkstars look neat, I did see one on the exchange a couple weeks ago. I received my 0710 in the mail today from Knifeworks . Its probably my favorite Benchmade now. If I could justify it I'd order the M390 limited edition right away.
