Well, I'm just not enough of a technical wizard to be able to take a photo with a digital camera and get the pictures onto the internet, so I'll just borrow some photos of knives I own from KA-BAR's own website. I doubt they'll mind since I really like all the KA-BARs I own.
KA-Bar KBD1 - A super knife that comes with one of the GFN sheaths and can be had for 40 dollars if you shop around. A good knife at a good price, in my opinion.
D2 Impact Spear Point - for now, it's the only knife in D2 steel that I own, and it has taught me that D2 is not hard to sharpen if you have a good set of diamond whetstones. It's my hiking knife. I love those micarta handles.
Large Dozier folding hunter with thumb hole opener - Awesome folder for the money! Made in Taiwan, but you'd think it was made in USA or Japan if they didn't print Taiwan on the blade. You can find them new for around 25 dollars. Left or right tip up carry, AUS 8 blade, and a solid lock back with no blade play. I put a few zip ties through the thumb hole on mine to give it a "wave" opening feature.
KA-BAR / Dozier folding hunter - a lot like the Large Dozier folding hunter above, but with a reversable thumb stud opener and a shorter blade length of around 3 inches.
These sale for only 20 dollars or so, and are just plain super value knives. Yeah, it's AUS 8 and not some new and expensive wonder steel, but it would give some similar, more expensive knives from other brands a run for their money. (I'm not going to name any names, but un-lined FRN handled lockback knives with tip-up carry...) There is also a version of this knife with a more pointed blade and a thumb hole opener:
KA-BAR / Dozier folder with thumb notch
I don't own this one, but I bought two for some of my first cousins who were graduating high school, and they love them.
Sorry if I'm sounding like a salesman here, but these are good knives.
