Jack, logically the answer is a yes but still that particular part of the ricasso is thicker and wider than the rat tail tang of the Khuk!.. wouldn't the deeper cho make the blade weaker? ..

Another interesting feature of my Malla is that the spine is flat. my other HI kukri's have a "peaked" or or in a couple cases a curved spine. Is the flat spine standard for the model?
