Show us your stag handled knives

I love stag and bone. Here's one by Takeshi Saji.

By now, it has lost it's presentation glory and has huge forced patina... it's a sickness of mine, patina that is. And lamination lines fade away after use and sharpening by laying it flat. But that's allright, I still love it and even more!

Some REALLY fine knives have been posted.

This was my FIRST Buck purchased around 1969 - 70 and it had the traditional black phenolic handle. I used to throw it some, which put some cracks in the phenolic, and after finding bladeforums, I contacted Joe Houser who arranged for the stag to replace the phenolic.

This one, I replaced the green dimpled rubber like on a ping pong paddle, with a piece of stag:

Here's a recent acquisition... a Masao Takahashi/Shosui Takeda collaboration. The first pic is from KnifeArt.com... I couldn't match the quality of their photo. A great site to deal with, by the way. I love the stag on this:

Here is a close up of the scales that I took. It's a mortised tang:

I also have a few stags in my Dozier collection:

A little vintage Puma 725, circa 1983. Man, I sure miss the killer stag on those great old Puma knives. (pre-1985)
