I'm working with Cbr900son here on Bladeforums to make me my first custom knife, a larger sort of survival knife. I think I want to go with an ESEE Junglas handle shape (Except in black g10) but I don't know about the blade shape. So I thought it would be good if I could look at some blade designs, and at the same time others could see some awesome production and custom knives.

I survive all the time with these...

Survived today with the BK9 and the BK11 - out clearing some winter-killed trees off of some horse trails.

My only survival knife at this time is the RTAK II. I Really like. A board member bead blasted it for me.

Winkler Belt knife.

Butchered a few pigs, made a few wooden spoons and cut open a lot of marihuana and cocaine bricks. A very good weapon as well.

Hey Charlie Mike, love that knife, did you make that sheath?

Yup, made that about a month before you saw me at the Plaza show last year.

Here's a few options.

and a phone pic of three different ~ 8" Busse knives: Team Gemini, Desert Storm Stealth Fighter, and a NMSFNO.

Either one of these would work both very heavy duty for sure. Top one Busse SHSH-II or Swamp Rat Ratweiler. Both have a really comfortable handles and grip.

Kabar JAB Potbelly. 7" blade of 1/4" thick 1095CV goodness. Most versatile 7" blade I've ever worked with. It will carve fuzz sticks almost as well as my small knives, but choke back on the handle and it chops like a small machete.
