This shot reminds me of a great white shark with the way the coating is worn off, light on the bottom and darker at the top, plus the shape of the tip. Looks like the business end of a great white. I do love my NMFSH too.
 
Lots of beautiful, well loved knives here. I have to say I have yet to see the ugly one.

I gotta say none of these are really ugly and if your all that upset by how horrible they look i'd be happy to take them off your hands :D
 
They are all like that well worn Win Model 94; the stories it could tell if it could only talk. There are prettier/newer ones out there, but your kids will be fighitng over them when you've moved on.

Agreed, my boys could care less about the stuff in the safe. They only want the stuff I use all the time.

Fantastic pics Max. Tell me, how do you get all the wood out of the coating? I have a hard time cleaning some of mine up. Yours seem to come up great.

Just leave it wet for a few minutes and hit it with a scourer. Rips it right out of the little wrinkels.
