Show what you did with your EDC today.

I cut open a box and found my favorite natural wood inside. I already had a bunch of this stuff, but when I found an available piece two inches thick I had to have it. Why? Because now I’m one of the few makers ready to make crosscut scales large enough for anything but my most gigantically handled machetes.

Here’s a WIP pic of one I did as a test with my previously thickest slab of Bocote. Instantly fell in love and scoured the world for a big enough slab to do my regular sized knives. I’m so excited, and I just can’t conceal this fact!

What did I do with my EDC today?
Smashed flat a section of the edge when a cutting board skated out from under the material I was bearing down on to cut it and the edge slammed down onto a ceramic surface. 😖😫
Mandatory resharpening session to take place immediately.
