Interesting thread! I just happened to see this for the first time... I can't show what I did with my EDC today, as I gifted it to a younger
friend to help him get started appreciating traditional pocketknives. He's 30, and from Pennsylvania, so when I expressed horror that he
didn't have a nice older Case pocket knife, he reported that the whole time he was growing up, nobody ever even mentioned Case knives.
I explained a little about their history, and it turns out he's from about 3 hours due south of Bradford, PA.

For over 10 years, I carried a Case XX (1940-65) red bone half-whittler -- a smaller knife with a pen blade and a long clip master
blade which is very slim, as it has only 1 backspring. It's a great pattern -- unnoticeable in the pocket, but the blade shapes are
very useful for a wide variety of cutting tasks. I retired that about 20 years ago to avoid losing it, and went through a succession
of both traditionals and modern clip-type one-handed opening knives. I picked up a nicely-made, newer yellow delrin Case half-whittler
of the same pattern as my old favorite here on the forum, with plans to experiment with re-handling it, as it wasn't very expensive
if I messed it up. Well, it arrived very sharp, and I thought "Why waste this nice sharp edge, I'll just carry it till it gets dull, and then
work on it." Well, with CV blades, it was so easy to touch-up that a year later, it was still in my pocket -- based purely on its own merits!

From the time my friend first got interested in pocket knives, the clip-type pocketknives were the standard among his peers, and that's
all he's carried. I gave him my little Case, and told him to just try it now and again, and see if he didn't like it. He really seemed to
appreciate it! So, hopefully, I've helped him start out on the road to broadening his horizons and enjoying more aspects of the knife
hobby! :)

All the best to y'all,
John

Working on an LED light repair. Got wet inside and stopped working. Who would think an outside light could get wet?!
I have seen some things you wouldn’t believe man haha. I’ve opened outside lights before and just watched the water pour out.

Bustin open a bag of pellets this morning I figured, great time to grab a pic but ended up getting distracted on to something else,we keep our pellets in a big wooden box holds about 3 bags.So I dumped the bag in ready for work. I reach down in pockets making sure I have everything,no knife.Looked for a 40 dollar knife for 30 minutes,I couldn’t of dumped it in. I ended up unloading 40 pounds of pellets, guess what I found image.jpg
