Sometimes in the middle of the night I’ll look around and realize the dog is nowhere to be found. I start searching around for her and end up usually finding her sitting in the kitchen alone in the dark…. Waiting for me to come find her, so that she can remind me I haven’t given her an apple yet.

Needed some batteries and opened the first of 200 bags of pellets. Need to test out the stove for the season. Plus it will be in the 40's-50's here at night!

My MIni-Bugout was starting to lose some of it's edge; so I put it across my steel last night.
It took about a half-dozen strokes per side; but it now back to razor-sharp conditions!
(No pictures: it's two-handed job.)
But I do have a pic of my big (F.) Dick!
It was already old when I got it: 40 years ago!
By my reckoning: it should be at least 80 years old by now.
