Bump this up!!!

New edge on my bk14 with my wicked edge. 30 deg back bevel and 40 deg micro bevel. Polished back bevel using up to 3.5 micron strop. Progressed through 100,200,400,600,800,1000,1200,1600,2000, 5 micron , 3.5 micron

Who doesn't like a nice crisp edge on some patina'd 1095? I just LOVE it.

My freehand sharpening suckage.

These are my Li'l Beckers



This is the edge on my BK14. I am not sure I should be sharpening my own knives yet freehand. It is sharp enough to cut through most things with out much pressure, but it sucks at cutting paper and shaving.



This is the BK11. It seems a little sharper. It can at least shave a little bit.



I am going to convex them later today using Derek's method. We'll see how it goes.
