The Grayman Satu will do this with authority, it is one smooth operating heavy duty folder.
 
I wanted to try out the Xio Alpha Mark 1 folder...it's a beefy boy but has a very slick action. While the detent is pretty stout, once bypassed, the heavy blade flies out and locks up with authority. Fit and finish are extremely well done and the materials alone for the "sale" price is of significant value. Color me impressed:



 
Could you please tell me what that design is called? Or at least show how it opens and closes? I really can't find anything on this online, but it looks so cool!
It's a Hubertus folding Bowie. It's also called a pig sticker. The blade lock releases for opening and closing when you press on the tab at the top of the handle. It's a German pattern that has been around for years and made by several makers.
