Show your Buck knive's Custom Leather

Which one? I'm pretty sure that the one with the concho is available. It came from eBay and I still see them occasionally. I tried to locate more of the Maglite sheaths and had no luck.

The one with the concho is still available. I just bought these two from the same guy about an hour ago. One for a 110 and the other for a 501. He makes them either right or left side carry. His pictures, not mine.

very nice guys. I'm feeling left out, I better treat a couple of my 110's with the respect they deserve and get some customs for them.

Here's one that I'd forgotten I had. It's for a 119 and seems to have it's own leash! Any idea's what that's about?

I think it's probably so you could also hang it from your belt so it drops down
into your pocket for a more inconspicous type of carry than on your belt?

I was trying to figure that out, and thought that it may be to put it on the tack of a pack animal, it unclips so you can then carry it on your belt when in camp. Just a guess.

That's kinda like the old belt hanger sheaths that used to come with the Western Bowies. It allows for easy detchment without loosening you belt to remove the knife but it is especially handy as it is not rigidly mounted on your belt thus allowing it to move freely and not hang up on brush, etc. and it lets you ride (autos/horses) without having the knife jammed into your body. That is especially important for us big guys.

This is one of my first sheaths that i made.

 There you go. Here's a Buck "Custom" sheath for my 119. The ones for the fixed blades are the best in my opinion. The ones for the 110, 112, etc. are too bulky due to the extra thick leather to suit me.

Are these sheaths available any where for a 124?

You've resurected a 3 year old thread. They were optional / accessory sheaths from the 80's. Here are 2 pages from the 1982 catalog.
I have not seen one for the 124.

Why was this Zombie brought back. Some of these guys are no longer living and some of us really liked him. It's more like 4 years old.Why not, Copy the sheath photo you wish to discuss and post it in YOUR new topic. DM
