You can actually see the flaming on the lock side pretty well. =]

Sweet....what kind of torch did you use?

Here is a link to one of my 3 Alan Davis knives that I use for edc. I have 7 of his knives all together. He does AWESOME work! Kevin

Here is another!

http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...n-Davis!-My-pocket-EDC-folder!-SMOOTH-AS-SILK!

Here is a lockblack that I talked him out of. I like to carry it when I have pants with zipper pockets because I dont want to tear up a zipper with a clip on knife. I also use the flipper too for that same reason. It does not have a clip either. As for factory knives I carry a Benchmade 940 or a Spyderco Para 2 with CTS 20CP steel. I also have a pocket fixed blade that Alan Made for me to my specs but still need to do a review on it. It is the only fixed blade I have ever carried because I only like to carry folders but this one is VERY SPECIAL! Thanks! Kevin

This one is a great little tough knife. It's wonderful. I love it.

So jealous. The JYD has become my new obsession. Especially the custom variety.

Love my Buck Vantage Force Pro. Only $80, sometimes less.

Perfect blade length/shape for EDC. Deep pocket clip. Light with G10 scales. Love the stone wash as well.

Matt - I actually didn't do it. The original owner did. I loved the flaming and such on this one and already had a Chokwe, now I have two here lol.
Trying to figure out what to do with the second. I don't keep multiples of blades because I just don't simply need them and it's more space with them just sitting around.

Matgarsmi - The JYD is a great knife. I'd like to have the Large version now as well. The small is great though. Makes a perfect little EDC. Tough little knife and cuts like a laser. CPM-154 is a great steel as well. The ergos are great and I love the pocket clip on mine versus the ones that Kershaw uses on their JYD's. Smooth as butter with the IKBS. It's been taking over my pocket and riding with my Large Sebenza. =]
