Howdy Hamon, It was milled from a solid piece of (6AL4V Ti) It's a little Heavy but I still use the Crap out of it!!! If I ever damage the Hawk Head I can buy a whole new unit from SOG for $40.00 or less and slap it on. ~baba~

I keep a good portion of my knives in a craftsman tool chest in my home office. I'd love to have a more organized area of the garage like Baba, but I've never gotten around to it. I think you guys might have inspired me though!!

Hey Baba,
Sorry for the delay. Thanks for comment on the Bucks, but only two of those are Bucks in that drawer. The single bolstered one right in front is actually an old Gerber from the good 'ol days, and there is also a Henckel that is much like a 110. A couple other randoms in there as well.
As far as the Volpe goes, I love it. Very interesting knife. I like the olive wood, and the blade shape is wild, very neat. Cuts like a razor and feels pretty good in the hand, even if at times the edges seem harsh on your palm. I don't really have any complaint other than that. I also love the spyder cutout on the backside of the handle. Definitely would recommend it for the collection.
