  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Show your love for orange scales

I don't know about love orange, as it isn't my favorite color and I prefer the looks of a traditional (wood) handle. But.... It is easy to find whether on the ground, truck console, hunting pak, knife drawer, etc.

Does that sweet skinner have a partial DE ?

It has a small swedge at the front, but not a true double edge. It can be sharpened if that is what the user wants, but it will be VERY thick :)

I have been coming around to the orange or colorful handle thing of late. Here is a shot of my Bark River Wilderness Explorer in red C-tek and the White River Backpacker Pro when they were new. Both of these fulfill a niche in my outdoor/woods knife inventory. I have some jigged bone slipjoints that "lean" toward orange, but are more brown than orange.

Don't have pictures but, I own an orange, US made Kerhaw Zing and an orange, D2, Griptilian 551.

Also have a cheap, orange handled, fixed blade around here somewhere. Along with some budget, orange kitchen knives.
