Show your love for orange scales

My new recon 1 tanto came in today!

I like the G10 on this one. I have an older (2017 or so) recon 1 clip point, and the G10 is very aggressive, like the SR1. No need for that on this knife, it’s more of an edc.
Edit: I’ve also noticed, compared to my old Recon, the coating is different. The old coating almost looked like paint, this looks more like Zero Tolerance DLC….not sure what’s better, but this looks more expensive IMO

Nope, just new, I’ve seen them at a couple places, BHQ, KC, and another one I think….they have orange, dark earth brown and an OD green color. But only on the recon tantos right now. I know DLT has the AD10s in different colors, those might be exclusive.

Got it. I have seen a few of their other old options available in those colors. Several of their busget sk5 steel knives. I didn't notice the recon 1 in the mix. That's pretty sweet.
 
I have a Syderco Endura orange showing up this weekend. I have 2 Brutalica Tsarap orange folders and one 3DogKnife (3DK) orange fixed blade. Awaiting a Survive! 5.1 orange with magnacut it it ever shows up.
