These aren't the best pics, they were taken with my phone, but I think you can make out the mirror micro bevel I have on it. I'm just to lazy to do the whole edge :D

Took these on the deck of my little fishing boat, and before you guys say anything I know it's dirty and needs a good washing :o

This thread depresses me, I was just getting happy with my dmt stones that were purchased 3 days ago.

Free handed obviously.

Not the best shot of my BK2, but you can see the mirror on the edge in this shot, even if it wasn't meant to show off the edge. However, I generally put at least a decent mirror edge on things, so I should start documenting it :).

This was done with 2000 grit wet/dry sandpaper and an old mousepad. Since then, I've picked up some 2-5 micron paste and a bit more experience :).

Another shot of it I took today, once again not really trying to show off anything. In this shot most of the patina is gone but you can see its pretty close to mirror, even off of the edge.

I need an edge pro like now

I have no doubt that the Edge Pro is a fantastic tool...I have a few friends that use them. However, many knives posted here (including the one I posted previously) were done freehand and honestly, it is not that hard to do.

There are numerous demonstrations available for producing polished edges with fairly meager equipment...search around.

I stress, I have nothing at all against the Edge Pro...I have seen some fantastic results from it!

DDR HD Maxx recurve tanto. Did it on my belt grinder with Al Zirc and leather.
