Show your small traditional lock blades!

Tom, that Moki is just smooooth.

I posted my 99's earlier, but I don't consider them small at 3 3/4" closed. The 83 Tascosa at 3 3/8" hits the sweet spot for me to be on the small size.

Alan that Tortoise is top! The 83 is one of my favourite lockbacks, and indeed a go-to knife it's such a good size.

I have another MOKI which despite the stellar, and it is, build quality has rather crap scales in Redblack bone. Long wanted to get them changed but I don't think anybody but the factory could change the scales and yet keep the astounding fit&finish. Don't dare risk it.

Thanks, Will

Thanks for your comments Rick T, Alan, & Redsparrow. Yes, holding a Moki in hand really let's them shine. This was my second addition to my modest collection. Of them all, only this knife and one other come close to being safe Queens, only coming out on 'State Occasions'.

I don't have any small lockback traditionals (or large ones, for that matter), but I will in a few days. Moki 3 3/8" Fish Owl. I'll take pictures when I get it.

I have one of those, you'll be impressed with the amazing build quality. You can't see the join between blade & spring, ultra light as it's linerless. Hard to photograph though!;)

I'm anxious as heck. I just hope I have the will power (huh huh huh:rolleyes:) to not buy the large one as well. I'll probably give in to weakness.

We're both right. This knife is awesome. The pull is a bit light, but that's probably to expected with a lockback. The F&F is amazing. Zero blade play in any direction. Snaps closed nicely and snaps open with an incredibly satisfying *snick*. You're right about the build quality. And I'm right that I didn't have the will power to not buy the larger one as well. I'll wait until I get that one before taking pictures. I might just have to get one of those bolstered ones with wood too.

This Buck 527 and Gerber lockback make the GEC #72 look like a Buck 110. :D

Those two Tiddler Lockbacks look really useful!

Here's the Queen in Zebrawood D2. 3" closed or even under.
