Going through this thread just strengthens my resolve to find "the one".

Whats "the one" for you? what are you looking for?
(Btw i know your feeling i've searched for a really long time to find "the one" for me aswell and i finally bought it.

"The one" for me has a main spear point blade, I think.. Don't know why, just how they look appeals to me. But some of the clip points I've seen in this thread would be hard to pass up. I think it might be against the rules if I described the knife I'm looking for here but I did put a post in the wanted to buy section. The TC's and Northfields I've looked at just seem to have a level of quality you don't see in a lot of the production knives I've looked at. Plus they have a vintage and nostalgic appearance that appeals to me. Kind of like a nice walnut stock on a blued rifle.

Yeah, i think a clip point looks great aswell especially with a nice patina on it, But for right now im trying to buy a Bullet-end jack which looks beautiful aswell in my opinion.
I mean....alot of knives look beautiful to me, All the TC's Bullet-end jacks, Moose's, Beer scouts, Cap lifters, Churchill's and thats just to name a few.

Wow. I like a lot of patterns but I think I have admired the TC Barlow clips more than any other in the last few years. I’ll pull the trigger someday. Until then this thread is mouthwatering. I like the pics of well loved users.
