If you hadn't said it is 3.75" closed I would have thought that it is a much smaller knife with standard sized scissors like a Victorinox. Those are really large scissors for a folder.

Posted before. Lawton Cutlery Co. Goins says 1890-1895. Located in Chicago. They were importers and jobbers of cutlery. Possibly made by NYK Co. or Walden. "Square deal" etch.

This is the cheapest horn handle knife I have. It's okay for what it is..... HUGE! There's a YouTube video where the reviewer says the handle resembles rotten wood.

Mike Robuck Can never show that rarity too often! Astounding finish on this knife:the bolster, serp frame, blades & etches, pins, shield mounting and choice of bone (so rich and arresting) really beautiful colour is it bias cut? Testament to the skill of the cutler and the curing process of the bone that unlike a lot of contemporary bone, there's no degradation, flaking, warp or other horrors just finest quality
